Giant’s Breath – Your First Freediving Adventure

For centuries, the legends of Ireland have told of selkies, sea warriors, and mystical beings who moved effortlessly through the water. Giant’s Breath is your invitation to follow in their wake—to experience the freedom, silence, and exhilaration of freediving.

This entry-level course is your first step into the world of breath-hold diving, where you’ll learn to move beneath the surface with confidence. Under the guidance of an SSI Professional, you’ll master the essential skills to dive safely with a buddy in a pool or confined water setting, reaching depths of up to five meters. Through a combination of digital learning and in-water practice, you’ll unlock your natural ability to explore beneath the waves—just as the legends of the deep once did.

Upon completion, you’ll earn your SSI Basic Freediver certification, marking the beginning of your journey into the underwater world.
